Ethiopian Calendar The Ethiopian calendar has 13 months, which consists of twelve 30-day months followed by
an extra five or six-days if it is a leap year. Once every four year a leap day
is added to this extra month to make it six days, making the average year 365 1/4 days long. Days begin at sunset.
