Established in 1993 Abadir soccer Club was formed by a group of friends who used to play soccer as a social exercise. Some of them used to play for other clubs and decided that they should organize a new club to participate many youngsters who wanted to play for a club.

Although the club is run and organized by people originally from Harar, located in the eastern part of Africa, it has been a home for players from a number of countries.

Since its inception in 1993, Abadir received a lot of support from the community.

The Annual Presentation day organized by Abadir is eagerly awaited by its players and supporters. On this day, there are a lot of activities for the supporters to enjoy including Soccer, and Volley Ball competitions. It is also the day for the players, committee members and supporters to receive trophies and awards for their efforts in the year.
